Hebden Bridge

Hebden Bridge is one of those unexpected gems. We first went there, because we had heard it’s quite a pretty village. And it is! The little old buildings give it almost a kind of period character and walking around and taking in the lovely views is already worth a weekend trip. But Hebden Bridge holds even more pretty views in store. If you walk another half an hour you will get to a National Trust registered forest called Hardcastle Crags and there is plenty of exercise and fresh air to be got here. It’s a lovely wild wood with a few alternative routes. I highly recommend a long and relaxing weekend stroll through this forest, including tea and cake at Gibson Mill 🙂
