Bempton Cliffs

Last week we went on a day trip to Bempton Cliffs to see puffins. These cute little birds are currently “in season”, as they are breeding ashore. They usually nest in little holes and near or in cliff edges. We expected puffins, but we were greeted by countless birds at Bempton Cliffs. It was certainly  busy and the bird cries and rustle of wings paired with the sharph wind gave a real wild and fresh feeling to air. Bempton Cliffs are also lovely for long walks along the cliff – especially now that summer is almost there.

And finally my best shot of a puffin – I will try to do better next time 🙂
